Competitions

Competition opportunities

Competition is available for students who want it and are ready, but not everyone has to compete.

Available when students are ready

Some students enjoy the focus and challenge of competition. Others train for confidence, fitness, friendship or progression without competing.

Specialist training

Monday sparring and poomsae sessions give members a route into deeper technical work and competition preparation.

Where competition fits

An optional route

Students can train, grade and be part of the club without competing. Competition is there for people who enjoy it and want that extra focus.

Readiness comes first

Interest matters, but so does being ready for the level of training involved. The team can help students understand when competition work is suitable.

Preparation in class

Specialist sparring and poomsae sessions provide focused practice in the areas students use when preparing for competition.
